To ensure a safe drive on the road it is essential that your vehicle is reliable and runs well. To achieve this, we recommend servicing your vehicle every 10000 kms or 6 months. This ensures your vehicle is frequently inspected for any possible faults and your engine runs properly lubricated which will prolong the life of the vehicle.
We understand that some manufacturers have stretched their service intervals out to 15,000 km but our qualified technicians highly recommend that service intervals do not exceed 10,000 kms or 6 months.
What’s included in our service:
Full safety check which includes inspection of suspension, brakes, lights, tyres, steering, undercarriage, hoses, belts and all fluid levels.
Our service also includes the replacement of engine oil and oil filter. The condition of the air filter element and cabin air filter are checked and a road test is performed. If a fault is found, we phone the client with a quote for approval before continuing with the job.
We service vehicles as per the manufacturer’s recommendations listed in the service book. Following the list of service requirements as recommended will protect your investment. We only use parts and lubricants that match the manufacturer’s and Australian Standards so you will not void your warranty.
Cartune Mechanics is a Queensland Government approved inspection station. We can undertake inspections for vehicle safety certificates (Roadworthy Certificates) either in our workshop or come to you as part of our mobile service.
Safety certificates cover the basic aspects of a vehicle that can affect its safe operation. It is compulsory to have the safety certificate displayed if you are selling your vehicle. For a detailed outline of what is required for a Safety Certificate, please visit the Queensland Transport website.
